Erin Tirpak

I am a fifth year theoretical linguistics PhD student at Georgetown University. I'm particularly interested in syntax, semantics, and psycholinguistics. My research is focused on phenomena related to coordination and resumption. Ongoing research includes investigations of the agreement behavior of coordination-adjacent phrases such as as well as, and along with in English (dissertation topic), the syntactic behavior of vice versa , the syntactic restrictions of nominal coordination in Igbo, and types of intrusive resumption in English.
